We always make the point that coaching turnover, on average, is between 15-20 percent on a year-to-year basis. But, I honestly can’t remember this many dominoes falling this quickly a month after the season is over, plus the number of high-profile programs that had their names in the hat has been staggering- some of those openings are fixed while others are still open.

The last day of the Georgia High School Association state basketball tournament was a good one for first-time champions. The Grayson boys and girls both won for the first time, as did the Mount Vernon boys. The St. Francis girls won their second straight title and fifth overall.
