200 hundred high school athletes from across Georgia showed off their skills in a combine-like workout in front of college flag football coaches, hoping to secure offers to play at the next level.
The No. 1 high school football recruit in the country pulled a signing day shocker. Travis Hunter from Collins Hill High School in Georgia announced he would attend Jackson State and play for coach Deion Sanders after being verbally committed to Florida State for over a year.
The GHSA’s regular season was completed last week, with region champions crowned in all classifications. All teams will have this week off, with the playoffs starting on Nov. 14-15.
