The high school football coaching carousel continues to spin in Georgia. There have been almost 100 coaching changes so far and a handful of vacancies still waiting to be filled. Each year the coaching turnover is roughly 20-percent, but this year could be higher than average due to some big job openings.
High School football always has something going on and we’re keeping a collective eye on the teams, coaches and players as they get ready for the summer swelter and practices that will lead us into the 2023 season. But, before the camps and the workouts, there’s still some other kinds of work to be done.
