A Georgia board has approved medical marijuana production licenses for two companies. The Wednesday vote by the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission moves the state a step closer to providing legal access to marijuana oil after a seven-year wait.

Georgia lawmakers face do-or-die Crossover Day on elections, culture wars bills

Tuesday is Crossover Day in the state Legislature, the last day a bill can cross from one chamber to the other.
