Love is in the air at Downton Abbey for Branson and Rose. Don’t worry! They aren’t getting together. But there are reports that they will find love interests in season four. Hypable.com reports that British actress Daisy Lewis will play Branson’s new live in governess. She will help mend his broken heart through a new romance.

Lewis may be more familiar to fans of the show Dr. Who as she’s appeared on that series.

Meet Daisy Lewis. She is playing Tom's new love.

Meanwhile just as I speculated and wrote about before, Rose and Jack Ross are highly likely to become a couple. Feast your eyes on this leaked photo from hollywoodlife.com of Jack and Rose in a boat together.

As producer Gareth Neame teased in another interview, Rose is the family’s wild child. She’s a bit rebellious, and she likes the boyfriends,” he said.

Gary Carr has appeared in Death in Paradise.

Ross, played by actor Gary Carr, is Downton’s first black character. Their romantic pairing would be another Downton milestone - the show’s first interracial couple.

Carr is an alum of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He’s a theatre, television and film actor best known for playing Officer Fidel Best in the British show Death in Paradise. He’s also guest starred on Law & Order: U.K.

Season four of Downton Abbey premieres January 5, 2014. What do you think of the new love interests planned for Tom and Rose? Good choice or bad matches?
