An effort to get citizens in Fulton County’s Buckhead neighborhood to leave the city of Atlanta has failed in the Georgia senate. 

The National Weather Service says a line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to move through Georgia today. 

Under current Georgia law, clerks and judges who process passports can take home the fees people pay as personal income. A new bill seeks to change that.
