The winner of this week's North Cobb contest at North Paulding, featured on Football Fridays in Georgia, will have a leg up in the race to win the Region 5-6A championship.
The last day of the Georgia High School Association state basketball tournament was a good one for first-time champions. The Grayson boys and girls both won for the first time, as did the Mount Vernon boys. The St. Francis girls won their second straight title and fifth overall.
After winning in every competition category at the Gray's Reef Southeast Regional MATE ROV Competition, North Paulding High School’s robotics team will now compete on a global stage at the International MATE competition in June.
