Sunday, April 27, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Southeast Chapter announced the 2025 Southeast EMMY nominees. Among them are two educational programs produced by Georgia Public Broadcasting. 

At an awards ceremony held in Atlanta, Georgia, Georgia Public Broadcasting's education division took home a 2024 Southeast Emmy Award in the Informational/Instructional - Long Form category for its Georgia Pollinators Live Exploration program. 

Congratulations to the winners! GPB enjoyed a night of celebration over the weekend during the 2024 Southeast Regional Emmy Awards presentation held on Saturday, June 15 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta.

Georgia Public Broadcasting's education division was nominated for two 2024 Regional Southeast EMMY® Awards over the weekend.

GPB brought home seven Emmys, including four for specific programs.

GPB was recognized with 4 Emmy wins by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Southeast Chapter in a ceremony held Saturday, June 18.

During a live ceremony on Saturday, June 18th, in Atlanta, GPB Education took home two Southeast Emmy Awards presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Southeast chapter. "Hope Givers: They Missed Out on All This" won Outstanding Achievement in Children/Youth/Teen - Long Form Content and "Georgia Peanuts Live Exploration" won Outstanding Achievement in Informational/Instructional - Long Form Content. 

The nominees include the GPB Original series Lawmakers and Your Fantastic Mind, as well as the investigative documentary Saving Juliette about water issues in the small Georgia town.
