The new development by KDC will include 2.2 million square feet of office space, 100,000 square feet of retail space and more.

KDC Real Estate, based out of Texas, recently announced plans for a 17-acre mixed use development located along Perimeter Center Parkway and Hammond Drive.

The first building will be leased by State Farm and will connect to the Dunwoody MARTA station. KDC plans to begin construction on the first building this summer.

"KDC is excited to continue our relationship with State Farm through the creation of a transit-oriented development in Dunwoody, said Larry Wilson, KDC. "This project will provide State Farm's work force a continued platform for success with direct access to a true live-work-play environment and a MARTA station."
