Metro Atlanta is expected to see strong job growth over the next three months

International workforce analysts, ManpowerGroup, has completed a survey of more than 18,000 employers in 100 cities across the U.S.

The survey measures employer sentiment for hiring or reducing workforce.

According to the survey, the overall employment outlook looks good. Eighteen percent of employers expect to increase staffing levels. Eight percent of employers expect a decrease in payrolls. Seventy-two percent of employers expect no change, and two percent are uncertain.

Houston, TX, Fort Myers, FL, and Greenville, SC, are the top three cities with the strongest “hiring” outlook by employers for the next three months.

Atlanta ranks 18th on the list of 100.

“Given the slow and steady recovery of the economy and continued global volatility, a 13% net employment outlook is healthy,” says Jorge Perez, senior vice president of Manpower, North America. “The survey continues to show consistent improvements in hiring optimism among U.S. employers. As we look to the last three months of 2013, we can expect more of the same gradual improvements in hiring plans.”
