GHSA 1A Public Final: Clinch County vs. Irwin County Football Fridays in Georgia
Clinch Co. avenged a regular season loss to its Region 2 rival and used its powerful ground game to defeat Irwin Co. 24-7 in the 1-A Public State Finals. The Panthers took an early lead after Chauncey Manac’s blocked punt set up their first score. Charles McLellan’s 36-yard TD iced the game in the fourth quarter. It was Clinch’s 6th state title.
