GHSA 3A Final: Westminster vs. Blessed Trinity Football Fridays in Georgia
Westminster beat Blessed Trinity 38-31 in OT in dramatic fashion to win 3-A championship, the school’s first state title in 37 years. Trailing 31-17 in the fourth quarter, Westminster scored two TD’s in 12 seconds with the aid of a bizarre onside kick. Isaiah Malcolm’s OT score gave the Wildcats their seventh straight road win and the title.
