The No Kings rally in Macon, Ga. ended when a small group of anti-ICE protesters objecting to the inclusion of Macon-Bibb County Sheriff David Davis in the lineup of speakers shouted him down and effectively ended the rally. The protesters objected to the 287(g) agreement between the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and ICE. Sheriff Davis countered that under a state law called HB 1105 he is mandated to work with ICE.

Bibb County sheriff says he’ll work with DOJ if they decide to investigate jail
