A small venture capital firm faced tough questions from conservative judges Wednesday as it defended a grant program for Black women-owned businesses in a lawsuit that has become emblematic of a growing legal backlash against corporate diversity programs.
According to the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operator and Developers, there are just nine Black-owned hotels in metro Atlanta. The Atlanta Voice explored a number of Black-owned hotels in order to further highlight the existences in the city’s hospitality space.
