New FDA-approved drug treats both types of the rare autoimmune disease myasthenia gravis

Myasthenia gravis is a rare autoimmune disorder that causes muscle weakness. Until now, no pharmacological treatment was available for the less common form of the disease, observed in about 15% of patients.
