Grady cornerback Damian Swann is one of many stars in Georgia’s 2011 Dream Team signing class. He is rated as high as the No. 3 cornerback in the country according to multiple national recruiting services and was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl last month. Immediately after leaving the stage at the Atlanta Public Schools Signing Day celebration, he received hugs from his crowd of at least two dozen friends and family. Then, he kindly answered some questions for Score Atlanta.

ScoreAtl: How long have you known Georgia was the place for you?

Swann: Everyday since I gave them my word, since “Day One.”

ScoreAtl: What is the biggest challenge you expect to face playing in the SEC?

Swann: Getting adapted to all that talent.

ScoreAtl: What do the UGA coaches expect from you this fall?

Swann: They expect me to come in and play, make an impact right away.

ScoreATL: What do you look forward to away from the football field at Georgia?

Swann: Great academics, great student body, beautiful campus.

ScoreAtl: Now that this recruiting process is over, how will you relax?

Swann: Baseball, track, working out.
