Two Major Jobs Announcements Dropped This Week, Featuring Emanuel County And Midtown Atlanta
Primary Content
Emmanuel County will soon be home to 150 administration and manufacturing jobs when Wincore Window Company LLC moves into a pre-existing facility in Swainsboro.
The reason I mention the facility is pre-existing is because that means the jobs will come available sooner than many of these job announcements. The company expects operations to begin in April, which will come fast enough.
We’re not sure when these jobs will post, but we’ll be sure to let our readers know as soon as we do.
Honeywell Expands
Honeywell International Inc. is expanding its Midtown software innovation center, adding over 300 jobs.
Last year, Morris Plains, N.J.-based Honeywell said it had chosen Atlanta for a software development center and headquarters of its nearly $10 billion Home and Building Technologies unit. The company planned to add at least 730 product software engineers and about 100 corporate positions over the next five years, Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.
It’s unclear when these positions will be available, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
