The technology-based grocery service—a category that personifies modern America—is a big deal.

Instacart has had a presence in Georgia for a while now, but with the latest announcement it’s putting down some serious roots with more than 400 new positions and $40 million in new investment in a Customer Experience Center (CEC) in the Atlanta area throughout the next 24 months.

What is Instacart, you ask? It’s a nationwide on-demand delivery service featuring contracts with various grocers.

Instacart has introduced same-day delivery in more than 240 markets across North America since its launch in 2012, and now covers over 60 percent of U.S. households. Instacart’s technology enables the delivery of fresh groceries and everyday essentials in as little as one hour.

The best part of this announcement? There are open positions in Atlanta RIGHT NOW. These positions include human resource, operations, and communications roles.

Atlanta has become a technology hub on the East Coast, and Instacart is just another example of industry leaders flocking to the Peach State to take advantage of its capable workforce.
