I told you before that I really enjoy crafting my kid's Halloween costume. This year, we're going with the hand-me-down costume that's been in the closet for at least 2 years now (it's taken a while for my 4-year-old to grow into the 3T costume). If that weren't the case, then I'd probably be working on this Wild Kratt's Costume from PBS Parents.

Except for the "official Wild Kratt's T-Shirt from the PBS KIDS Shop," everything else in the supply list is stuff you've already got laying around the house. Check out the creature power suit gloves in this photo. It's just paper circles glued onto fleece gloves, which you can often find in the dollar bin if you don't have a spare set around the house.

Since time is probably quickly waning for getting that "official t-shirt" in on time for Halloween, you may want to go with some handy printing and gluing for those little icons. Check out the Wild Kratts printables and then you'll have to play around with enlarging some of the images.
