Riley Bunch is a public policy reporter at Georgia Public Broadcasting covering the intersection of government and daily life. Bunch has won awards for both her journalism and photography during her time in Georgia.

Prior to her role at GPB, Bunch was the Georgia statehouse reporter for CNHI News where she covered the Georgia General Assembly, 2020 elections and statewide social issues. Some of her most notable work delved into topics such as lack of access to rural health care, agriculture reform, maternal mortality and care for Georgians with disabilities.

During the 2020 election, Bunch followed the campaign trails of both presidential candidates in Georgia while also covering the state’s consequential Senate races, both reporting on and photographing the cycle.

Bunch began her career in journalism at the Idaho Press newspaper in Boise, Idaho after graduating from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
