GHSA 2A Final: Pace Academy vs. Fitzgerald Football Fridays in Georgia
In only its 8th season of football, Pace Academy used two long fourth quarter drives to defeat Fitzgerald 42-21 to claim the 2-A state championship. Quarterback Gunnor Faulk completed 13-of-15 for 148 yards and rushed for 57 more as the Knights gave perennial power Fitzgerald another bitter season ending loss.
