Legendary or Infamous?  That depends upon which sideline you stand.  There is rarely any middle ground with Coach Rush Propst.  Fans love him or hate him.  A year after his unceremonious firing by Colquitt County High School, Propst has been hired to take over the famed Valdosta Wildcats football program, itself embroiled in controversy after the unexpected dismissal of Coach Alan Rodemaker.  Propst won two state titles with the Packers and led the program to five state championship games in his 11 seasons in Moultrie.  Now he takes over the rival Wildcats looking to lead Valdosta to its 25th state title and to become the first program in the nation with 1,000 all-time wins.
