Facebook users can apply for their portion of a $725 million lawsuit settlement

The settlement stems from a lawsuit alleging Facebook developers sold user data to Cambridge Analytica, a former political consulting firm, to target people in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Atlanta to pay $1M settlement to family of Rayshard Brooks

The Atlanta City Council has approved a $1 million settlement payment for the family of Rayshard Brooks, who was shot and killed by a police officer. Brooks, a 27-year-old Black man, was shot following a confrontation with two white police officers in June 2020.

Delta Air settles with pilot who raised safety concerns

Georgia Receives $16M Settlement From McKinsey Over Role In Opioid Crisis

The consulting firm McKinsey & Company has reached agreements with 49 states because of its sales advice to drug manufacturers, including Purdue Pharma, the manufacturer of OxyContin. More than $16M will help Georgians living with opioid use disorder, Attorney General Chris Carr said.
