An ongoing federal investigation into the mistreatment of pregnant women in U.S. prisons and jails has found over 200 reports of human rights abuses, according to Georgia’s U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff at a hearing on Wednesday.

Georgia U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock is introducing a bill meant to address the affordable housing crisis in the state and across the country.

Teen brother of Air Force airman who was killed by Florida deputy is shot to death near Atlanta

Authorities say the teenage brother of a U.S. Air Force airman who was shot and killed in his home by a Florida sheriff's deputy in May was shot to death this week near Atlanta. The killing of Senior Airman Roger Fortson made global headlines in May.
