Scientists at Augusta University examine link between genetics and COVID-19 risk

Early in the pandemic, scientists noticed a striking difference among patients infected with COVID-19. Some were asymptomatic while other seemingly healthy people wound up in the ICU. The latest data from the state Department of Public Health show 27,750 Georgians died from complications of COVID disease.
