This Christmas, Atlanta’s Fox Theatre celebrates its 90th birthday.  The “Fabulous Fox,” as it’s known, has fought its way back from extinction numerous times. Hear from Fox Theatre President and CEO Allan Vella about the dramatic twists and turns of this iconic building’s history.

John Goode’s collection of poetry, Conduit, touches on finding hope after challenging times. He joins On Second Thought to recite one of his poems and share his inspiration for his writing.

Scott Chalkley, a Macon native who moved to North Carolina, has been getting calls from kids who confused his number with Santa’s for the past 8 years. This year, he set up a website with his favorite voicemails while promoting donations to United Way of Central Georgia’s Merrie Christmas Project.

Author Laurel Snyder’s book, My Jasper June, tackles adult realities for children, including homelessness, addiction, and domestic abuse.  She joined On Second Thought to share why she believes it’s important to talk about these issues into children’s books.
