For many kids, summer reading has taken up a big chunk of their vacation.

 

But for second-grader Nicholas Buamah of Snellville, people all across the country are busy reading his book.

 

Nicholas, who is 8 years old, is the author of "Kayla & Kyle The Walking Dictionaries: Election Day," which came out last year.

 

 GPB's Leah Fleming sits down with eight-year-old author Nicholas Buamah of Snellville

It’s an animated book that helps young children build their vocabularies.

 

The book been a big hit, becoming a No. 1 best seller on Amazon. And, to top it all off, Kayla and Kyle is also being added to the Library of Congress catalog.

 

GPB's Leah Fleming sits down with Nicholas and his mom, Danielle, to discuss the creation of the book and their philanthropic initiative Books Without Borders.
