Today's show celebrated the 50th anniversary of Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, explored the dynamics of aging in place and checked in about the future of funding for MARTA.

Michael Parver and Jamie Clements joined "On Second Thought" to revisit 50 years of programming and transformations at the theatre. They also discussed the new renovation project and the opening of "Ever After," a musical based on the 1998 Drew Barrymore film.

GPB's Ross Terrell discussed a recent State of MARTA address by the Council for Quality Growth and MARTA. CEO Jeff Parker called for a $100 billion investment in public transit over the next 40 years at the event.

Finally, Heidi Ewen, adjunct faculty in housing management and policy at UGA, as well as director of healthcare management at University of Indianapolis, explored conversations on aging in place. Doug Lueder, advocacy chair for the National Aging in Place Council, also joined the conversation.
