Cities United: The Road to Equity and Inclusion - Town Hall

The death of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Rayshard Brooks, among others, unleashed anger across the country. While it is a national conversation, solutions to creating equity and inclusive communities will be found locally, which require cities and their leaders to be at the forefront of creating change in their communities.

Georgia mayors, Keisha Lance Bottoms, Jim Thornton, Hardie Davis, and Robert Reichert, along with Georgia House Representative Calvin Smyre begin that statewide conversation around the issues of race, equity and inclusion, how these issues impact Georgia’s communities, and why and how city officials can make equity a priority in their communities.

The Georgia Municipal Association and GPB present Cities United: The Road to Equity and Inclusion.
