Presenters include students and faculty from Augusta University’s Fine Arts Department and Medical College.  The World Voice Day events are free and open to the public. (Event Date: Sat 04/15)   Columbia County’s annual Easter Egg Scramble is Saturday from 10 ‘til 1 at Evans Town Centre Park on Evans Town Center Blvd.  There are separate Easter egg hunts for children 4 and under and 5 and above.  The event includes prizes, music and more. (Event Date: Sat 04/15)   This Saturday, The Lyceum Series and The Cinema Series at Augusta University invite you to Eiga Fest--a day exploring the cinema and culture of Japan. (Event date: Thu 04/27)   Symphony Orchestra Augusta presents the Grammy-winning Steep Canyon Rangers in concert at the Bell Auditorium on Thursday, April 27th. The group has recorded with Steve Martin, Edie Brickell, Paul McCartney, and The Dixie Chicks. (Event date: Tue 04/28)   Coming to Augusta University’s Maxwell Theatre April 28th, it’s the Akropolis Reed Quintet. The group combines sax, clarinet, oboe and bassoon to perform unique compositions and arrangements. The concert takes place from 7:30 to 9:30 and is part of the Harry Jacobs Chamber Music Series. (Event Date: Sat 05/06)   GPB-Augusta, Garden City Jazz, The Greater Augusta Arts Council, and AU’s Music Department present the spring Straight A Jazz concert. It takes place beginning at 6pm on AU’s Summervillle Campus in at the Barnard Amphitheatre.
