Greenbrier: Kenzie Horton has thrown for 2,406 yards and 42 touchdowns with only five interceptions. Her talented group of receivers features Maggie Pangle (84 catches, 14 touchdowns), Aaliyah Silver (69 catches, 13 touchdowns) and Pressley McDermott (59 catches, six touchdowns). The running attack is led by Jai Sheffield with 398 yards and five touchdowns. On defense, Sophie Campanaro leads the team with 96 tackles and freshman Arianna Boone has a team-high 17 sacks. Greenbrier, who finished second last season, suffered its only loss to two-time Division 1 champion Southeast Bulloch in the season opener.

Lithia Springs: Lithia Springs is the defending state champion. Senior Navaeh Shedrick is one of the state’s top players; she’s rushed for 1,083 yards and scored 19 touchdowns and leads the team with 106 tackles. Brielle Holland (214 yards) and Emmani Roberts (151 yards) are also threats to run the ball. Quarterback Rashyia Minnex-Moss has thrown for 1,801 yards and 31 touchdowns and rushed for an additional 115. The top receivers are Hannah McIver (50 catches, 17 touchdowns), MyAngel Ross (37 catches, seven touchdowns) and Holland (30 catches, three touchdowns). Roberts (103 tackles, 29 sacks), Holland (62 tackles) and McIver (13 interceptions) are the other defensive leaders. The Lions only loss came against St. Anne-Pacelli.
