Cedar Grove: Juniors Elliott Colson, a Central Florida commit, leads DeKalb County with 2,220 yards passing and 26 touchdowns and Georgia commit Boden Walker has rushed for 1,327 yards and 24 touchdowns, as well as 37 receptions.. Sophomore Devin Carter has 47 receptions for 836 yards and 12 touchdowns and has already committed to Florida State. Top defensive players are Western Kentucky commit Wesley Brown (95 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, five sacks), Keith Bass (87 tackles, nine tackles for loss), Javon Beckford (75 tackles, nine sacks, five caused fumbles, four recovered fumbles), Alabama-Birmingham commit  Kyle Mosley (five sacks) and CB Lakhi Roland (five interceptions).

Savannah Christian: The Raiders have a pair of 1,000-yard rushers -- juniors Zo Smalls (1,808 yards, 30 touchdowns) and Kenry Wall (1,036 yards, 15 touchdowns, along with five receiving touchdowns). Quarterback Blaise Thomas has thrown for 1,897 yards and 14 touchdowns and run for 139 yards and four touchdowns. Two-way standout David Bucey, a South Carolina commit, has 52 receptions and six touchdowns and is second on the team with 111 tackles, 17 of those for loss. Jaden Miles leads the defense with 145 stops and sophomore Reid Penrose has 100 tackles. Elijah Griffin, ranked by some as the nation’s No. 1 prospect for 2025, has 17.5 sacks and freshman LaDamion Guyton has 10 sacks and already has five DI offers. Jamari McIvory is a top defensive back with seven interceptions and Noah Stone has three picks. Defensive end Logan Brooking, a junior, has already committed to Clemson.

State championships appearances: Cedar Grove won state championships in 2016, 2018-19 and 2021. The Saints finished second in 1991 and 2022. Savannah Christian won its only GSHA championship in 2011. The Raiders won GISA titles in 1975, 1977-79, 1981-82 and 1984.
