All season long, GPB Sports has been on the search for Georgia high school football players who may need a little help getting noticed by recruiters. As we begin to wrap up the 2023 season, read about our final list of nominees for the season.

Kiyun Cofer, Carrollton, ATH, JR

Kiyun Cofer is a 5'11 190 LBS Athlete at Carrollton High School. The accomplished junior was named the Region 2-7A Second Team Wide Receiver for his outstanding work on the field during the '22 and 23' seasons. He is also a recipient of the Diamond in the Rough Award for exhibiting outstanding qualities and potential for greatness. Cofer has an impressive resume with a total of 52 receptions, 12 TD's and 926 yards. A three-sport athlete, he is not only on the football team, but also basketball and track & field. Cofer has a 3.0 GPA, and enjoys fishing, playing Madden and spending time with his family.

Bryce Hart, Ringgold, OLB/WR, JR

Bryce Hart is a 6'2 213 LBS Outside Linebacker and Wide Receiver at Ringgold High School. The two-year starter has an impressive 138 tackles, 14 pressures and was named All-Region First Team as a sophomore. The scholar-athlete has a 3.6 GPA, takes AP/Honors courses, writes poetry and is the Class President. Not only is Hart stellar on the field, but also on stage, where he holds a state championship in One-Act Theatre.

Branson Brooks, Lambert, MLB, JR

Branson Brooks is a 6'1 180 LBS Middle Linebacker at Lambert High School. Through 11 games, he has 164 total tackles, seven sacks, 10 tackles for loss, seven hurries, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery TD. Brooks' hard work on the field has led him to be named Defensive Player of the Game, Special Teams Player of the Game and 2023 Iron Man,  which is given to the top 10 athletes in school. The junior dual-sport athlete also plays lacrosse, where he was a part of the Longhorns state championship team. Off the field, Brooks has a 4.07 GPA, and is a member of the Football Leadership Council, National Honor Society, and Beta Club.

Dylan Higginbotham, Camden County, DE/G, SR

Dylan Higginbotham is a 6'4 250 LBS Defensive End and Guard at Camden County High School. The senior is one of the leading tacklers on the Wildcats 7A semifinal bound team, with 137 tackles (59 solo) and nine quarterback hurries. Higginbotham has a 3.9 GPA and is looking for his first offer.

Saalim Davis, North Atlanta, FS/CB, JR

Saalim Davis is a 6'1 170 LBS Free Safety and Cornerback at North Atlanta High School. Davis began playing football at the age of five, where he was a member of the Ben Hill and East Metro youth league programs. The junior starter has been featured by AJC, mentioned by GPB Sports' Matt Stewart as one of the top prospects in the state, and been invited to the Army All-American Bowl and to the NFL Pro-Bowl National Combine. The junior starter helped make history as a member of the North Atlanta team that made it to the first round of the playoffs and produced the best record in school history. (Re-watch the game here on GPB.org) Davis has a 3.2 GPA, and has one offer D1 offer from Austin Peay University, but says he wants to get on the radar of more colleges as he gets ready for his senior year.

Darrion Manuel, Monroe Area, RB, SR

Darrion Manuel is a 5'10 210 LBS Running Back at Monroe Area High School. Nicknamed "Flash,", he runs a 4.5 40 and has over 1,600 yards (1,592 rushing) on 202 carries with 15 touchdowns. He benches 295, squats 515 and power cleans 300. Manuel finished his junior season with 798 yards and 13 TD's, off the bench. He didn't play much his freshman and sophomore season's due to injury, but despite those setbacks, Manuel had a strong senior year and helped lead the unranked Hurricanes to the quarterfinals.

Cooper Smith, Brentwood, LS/OL, JR

Cooper Smith is a 6'0 275 LBS Long Snapper and Offensive Lineman at Brentwood School. Despite missing last season with a torn ACL, this past year he has gotten bigger, faster, and stronger. Smith is a multi-sport athlete, playing baseball, basketball, throws shot put & discuss on the track team and is a member of the Clay Target team. In his free time, he loves being outdoors, and deer hunting!

David Price, Miller Grove, ATH, SR

David Price is a 6'0 180 LBS Athlete at Miler Grove High School. He ended his season with 58 total tackles (49 solo), one interception, one sack, 11 pass break ups, and four forced fumbles. The versatile senior has the ability to play at safety or nickel, and has been awarded First Team All-Region and 5A All-State. The dual-sport athlete also runs track & field, participating in the 100m, 200m and 400m races. When he has free time, he enjoys working out, playing video games, trying out new foods and hanging out with friends. Price has a 3.5 GPA.

Justin Faulkner, Bremen, ATH, SO

Justin Faulkner is a 6'0 150 LBS Athlete at Bremen High School. The sophomore runs a 4.4 40, and has 23 receptions for 504 yards, and four touchdowns. Faulkner was awarded the Maxpreps Georgia Player of the Week, Times Georgia Player of the Week and West Georgia Sports Nation Dude of the Week. The impressive sophomore made history at Bremen with the longest passing touchdown of 94 yards. A dual-sport athlete, Faulkner is a Region 6-3A track champion, and runs the first leg on all the relay teams.

Kaleb Joiner, Turner County, WR/DB, SR

Kaleb Joiner is a 6'2 175 LBS Wide Receiver and Defensive Back at Turner County High School. The four-year varsity starter finished his season with 713 receiving yards, 48 catches, seven touchdowns and seven pass break ups, earning him his #2 rank at receiver in the region. The dual-sport athlete also plays varsity baseball for the Turner County Titans, and is a member of multiple organizations like FBLA, FCCLA, Mission 3E Leadership and Beta Club. Joiner has a 3.6 GPA and is a dual-enrollment student.

Keshun McKever, Cook, RB/LB, SR

Keshun McKever is a 5'11 187 LBS Running Back and Linebacker at Cook High School. Despite only playing six games during his junior season, he racked up 1,200 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns. His performance helped him earn First Team All-Region Running back and the ITG NEXT Outstanding Offensive Player Award. McKever had an offer from Colorado, but it no longer available under the new coaching staff. As he continues his senior season with the Hornets ahead of the semifinals this Friday, he has 1,327 yards, 259 carries, and 14 touchdowns. The multi-sport athlete runs a 4.62 40, plays basketball and runs track for the Hornets. In his spare time, he likes to be around his family and friends, and play video games.

De’Mari Foster, Dublin, RB/MLB, SR

De’Mari Foster is a 5’10 190 LBS Running Back and Middle Linebacker at Dublin High School. He finished his senior year with two touchdowns on 78 rushing yards, five tackles, two assists and registered a team high 22.3 mph on one run. Foster has a slew of accolades and awards: 2021 2nd Team All-Region on defense, 2022 1st Team All-Region on offense - where he rushed for over 1,000 yards, Player of the Game in 2022 against ECI - with 362 yards, four touchdowns and 16 rushing yards, Two-Way Player of the Year in 2022, and 2x Player of the week in 2022 and 2023. Foster received student of the month for his US History class in 2022, showcasing his ability to lead on and off the field. Foster is currently enrolled at OFTC for wielding. He enjoys listening to music, traveling, playing video games, and spending time with his family and friends.
