About the Blue Devils: Norcross is the Region 7 champion and has won six straight, the most recent loss coming to Class A Private finalist Mount Paran. The Blue Devils played a difficult non-region schedule and defeated region foe and Final Four team Archer three times. Norcross is led by Region 7 Player of the Year Zaria Hurston and Region 7 Defensive Player of the Year DeNaeja Morton, who hit the winning 3-pointer to beat Campbell in the Final Four. Jania Akins was a first-team selection and LaNiya Kenon was a second-team pick. The Blue Devils have won three state championships, the last coming in 2013.  

Harrison Hoyas

How they got there: Def. Colquitt County, def. Woodstock, def. Grayson, def. Archer.

About the Hoyas: Harrison is the Region 3 champion and has a 21-game winning streak. The Hoyas are a deep team, led by Region 3 Player of the Year Anna Gernatt, one of the best 3-point shooters in the state. Harrison’s Alisha Foster was a first-team all-region pick, with Emily Acampora a second-team selection. Bailey Vick came up big in the Final Four win over Archer. The Hoyas are making their third appearance in the championship game and are seeking their first state title.
