The most spirited time of the year is back!

On November 15th and 16th, Georgia's top high school cheerleading squads will take to the blue mats for the 2019 GHSA State Cheerleading Championships from the Columbus Civic Center.

This year's championship lineup includes 128 teams:16 teams from classifications 1A-7A and Coed. Each team will have two minutes and thirty seconds to perform for a panel of judges. Squads are scored based on the degree of difficulty and execution of various technical and athletic elements, including standing and running, tumbling, jumps, stunts, pyramids, and cheer.

Round one kicks off at 7 PM Friday with 1A and Coed routines. 

The competition continues Saturday at 9 AM with classes 2A, 3A, and 4A. The 5A, 6A, and 7A finals will start at 2 PM

Trophy presentations for the champions will take place at the conclusion of each session.
