Here are some of the top individual performances recorded by Georgia high school players over the weekend:

Tucker running back Tyler Hughey: He rushed nine times for 166 yards to lead the Tigers, who finished with 291 rushing yards and 461 total yards. Tucker prevailed in 34-18 over Lovejoy in a key Region 4-6A game. 

Parkview wide receiver Malik Washington: The senior caught six passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns and also scored on a 3-yard run as the Panthers rolled to a 28-0 win over Norcross. 

Dalton running back Jahmyr Gibbs: He rushed for 246 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 49-20 win over River Ridge. 

Buford quarterback Aaron McLaughlin: The sophomore threw for 175 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-0 win over Johnson. 

Rome running back Jamious Griffin: The senior only carried 11 times, but still gained 141 yards and scored three touchdowns in the 48-7 win over Woodland. Griffin now has 1,158 yards rushing in 2018.

Marist returner Kyle Hamilton: He had two special teams scores in a 59-7 win over Chestatee. He blocked a punt for a touchdown and returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown. 

Athens Academy kicker James Williams. He set a school record with a 57-yard field goal in a 31-27 win over Prince Avenue Christian. 

Mount Paran running back Jack Allen: He rushed for 197 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 46-21 win over Mount Pisgah.
