This week as Woodward Academy gets ready to host the Sandy Creek Patriots, I sat down with Elijah Holyfield and his father, Evander Holyfield.

Elijah has missed the last five games due to a foot injury. No decision has been made as to whether he will play or not on Friday.

Whenever his time comes to get back on the field, he says he's ready to take the first hit.
