WEEK 10 CENTENNIAL AT ALPHARETTA

Wow. Believe it or not, we are just two weeks away from
the postseason, from the playoffs, from the Road to the Dome. The season has seemed to just
be flying by.....

This week, another interesting battle on the world wide web.
GPB will webcast the Centennial Knights at Alpharetta.

The Knights come into this one with a 4-4 record, 3-1 in the region.
The Knights are on a bit of a roll right now, with a three game winning
streak going. Coach jeff Measor told me his team is playing better
defense as of late, and finding a way to win some close games.
He has alot of respect for the Alpharetta Raiders who come into this one
with a 7-1 record, 4-0 in the region. The Raiders lone loss came against
Mill Creek which has a very strong team this year.

The Raiders are led by QB Joshua Dobbs, running back Jalen Simmons and
wide receiver Carlos Burse. Coach Jason Dukes is in his third year
at Alpharetta and check out the progression. 3-7 in 2009, 6-5 last year
and this year sitting pretty with a 7-1 record. Thats how you grow a program.

Game time is 7:30 with our pregame show coming on at 7pm
right here on gpb.org/sports.

On the TV side we have a GREAT matchup. Second ranked and undefeated
Grayson taking on the defending AAAAA state champs, the Brookwood Broncos.
The last two games on GPB have gone down to the final drives of the game
in two exciting finishes. Friday's game should be one of the best we will
see all season long, so don't miss it.
