GPB Encourages Educators To TEACH BOLDLY This School Year

This fall, PBS Education is kicking off a new school year with the launch of TEACH BOLDLY, a year-long celebration to honor educators across the country. This multi-platform, teacher-centric campaign started on September 12 as part of Spotlight Education week.

Throughout the year, TEACH BOLDLY will invite educators to explore the new PBS Teachers’ Lounge - a creative digital space where teachers can share ideas, learn from peers, find daily inspiration, and tap into the resources they need to enhance their work in the classroom. Each day, visitors to the PBS Teachers’ Lounge can also sign up to participate in the TEACH BOLDLY Sweepstakes for a chance to win a 1-month supply of coffee (plus a coffee maker, cups, and sleeves) for the teachers’ lounge at their school. At the end of the school year, one grand prize winner will be selected from all entries to receive a newly designed, furnished, teched-out teachers' lounge makeover at their school.

What does it mean to teach boldly? What are you doing to inspire your students? How are you innovating in your classroom? Share your insights, tips, strategies, words of wisdom, and photos with us on social media using #TeachBoldlyYour tweets and photos could appear on PBS' social hub.
