Laura Evans serves as VP of Education at GPB, where she has led the education team for over a decade. Under her leadership, GPB has developed and distributed a robust portfolio of free digital learning resources aligned to academic standards, including virtual field trips, scholastic games, video series, online courses, and immersive VR/AR experiences. Laura also oversees statewide education outreach efforts that reach thousands of educators, students, and families each year through professional development, family learning events, and community engagement initiatives. A former classroom teacher, she is committed to ensuring access to high-quality, no-cost educational resources for every PreK–12 learner in Georgia. Through strong partnerships and a focus on innovation, she continues to champion learning opportunities that help all students and educators thrive.
