Calling all girls between the ages of 15-18 and grades 10-12 who are looking to change the world! Marvel Studios is partnering with the National Academy of Sciences’ Science & Entertainment Exchange for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War - Girls Reforming The Future Challenge where girls can explore their inner potential by creating an original and innovative project using STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. One winner will be selected to receive an internship with Marvel Studios. The competition is in conjunction with the release of Captain America: Civil War on May 6.

Participants can create a new STEM project for the challenge or submit a project they previously developed for a class, for a science competition, or just for fun. Science, technology, engineering, or mathematics must be used in the creation of the project, and the project should have a the potential to benefit humankind. After completing the project, participants will submit a short video demonstrating and explaining the benefits of the project, how STEM helped them develop the project, and why they would like an internship at Marvel Studios. Five finalists will be picked to travel to California to present their projects to a panel of experts, and they’ll also receive an invitation to hit the red carpet at the Civil War world premiere at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre April 12, a tour of Walt Disney Studios and a $500 saving account from Synchrony Bank. One winner will be selected from the finalists to receive an internship opportunity at Marvel Studios. Entries will be accepted through March 26.
