A traditional Thanksgiving dinner has increased about 20% this year and food prices, in general, have risen 12%.

The Georgia CNA Career Pathway Initiative was prompted by a statewide shortage of the vital members of the health care team of a resident in a long-term care facility: certified nursing assistants.

Zoo Atlanta has updated its weapons policy to allow guests to carry guns onto its grounds. The zoo originally changed the policy in September, banning people from bringing guns.

Some 300 species of birds have been spotted along Georgia’s Colonial Coast Birding Trail, which spans 122 miles and has 17 sites, making it great for bird watching.
