Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic ring in the New Year with an all-American program: Bernstein's Candide Overture and Symphonic dances from West Side Story, and Gershwin's Piano Concerto and Rhapsody in Blue. Jean-Yves Thibaudet joins as guest artist for the Gershwin pieces. Alec Baldwin hosts.
