Special Session Capitol Report Day 7 12/07/23 Lawmakers
On Day 7 of the Special Session the Republican drawn US Congressional map was voted on, and passed in the House, 98 to 71. Afterward, Sine Die was declared, ending the session. Democratic House Minority Leader James Beverly told GPB that regardless of the votes, all the maps will ultimately be decided on back in court.
