GHSA Semifinal: North Gwinnett vs. McEachern Football Fridays in Georgia
C.J. Leggett’s 53-yard scoring run late in the third quarter broke a 14-all tie and help lead North Gwinnett to a 27-21 win over McEachern to put the Bulldogs into the 6-A state title game. Leggett rushed for 292 yards on 36 carries and two scores for North Gwinnett, whose defense helped overcome four offensive turnovers. Bob Sphire’s Bulldogs have a 91-15 record over the past eight years.
