Many of the same teams in the boys Class 5A rankings are the same in the girls rankings. Norcross is at the top with Milton at No. 3 and Campbell at No. 6. Also, like the boys rankings, the girls Class 5A rankings are dominated by metro Atlanta squads. Only Savannah's Bradwell Institute breaks the trend.

Four of the five No. 1's are from metro Atlanta, with Washington County being the lone exception in Class 3A.
