Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be observed on Monday, Jan. 21, and several events will take place in Georgia to commemorate his life.

Dublin: (parade) Jan. 19 at noon in Downtown Dublin

Forsyth: (march/celebration) Jan. 21 at noon on Courthouse Square

Macon: (celebration) Jan. 21 at 5 p.m. at Tubman Museum

Augusta: (celebration) Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church

Atlanta: Free admission 

Stockbridge: Day of Service at Panola State Park
