On this edition of Political Rewind, as wintry weather moves into the state Gov. Kemp is making plans to minimize the impact it might have on residents in the northern part of the state. 

Emboldened by one of their most competitive gubernatorial races in decades, Georgia Democrats are charting a course to turn the state blue. They’ve elected a number of fresh faces to party leadership including the first African American party chair. 

The shutdown may be over, but the White House is signaling that Trump may be willing to shut the government down again if he does not get funding for a wall along the southern border of the state.
