A German court convicted a 97-year-old woman of being an accessory to murder as a secretary to the commander of a World War II concentration camp. She was given a 2-year suspended sentence.

Environmental investigation consultants have found significant radioactive contamination at an elementary school, which sits in the flood plain of Coldwater Creek which was contaminated by nuclear waste from weapons production during WWII.
