The Waukesha police chief identified Darrell E. Brooks as the only suspect in the tragic vehicular attack that killed at least five people and injured 48 others on Sunday.
Darrell Brooks Jr., 39, was charged earlier this month with recklessly endangering safety and battery when he ran over a woman with his car earlier this month.
Steven Brandenburg, the Wisconsin pharmacist who admitted to removing some 570 doses of the Moderna vaccine from cold storage last month, has been charged with attempted criminal damage to property.
Kenosha, Wis., police Officer Rusten Sheskey, who is white, shot Jacob Blake seven times in the back in August after Blake slowly walked away from officers and toward a parked vehicle.
"He'd formed this belief they were unsafe," prosecutors said Monday. They also disclosed that colleagues of the now-fired pharmacist, Steven Brandenburg, reported he had twice taken a gun to work.
The now-fired hospital employee later said he knew "that people who received the vaccinations would think they had been vaccinated against the virus when in fact they were not," investigators said.
Officials at the Wisconsin medical center first suspected a now-former employee inadvertently left the Moderna drugs out of cold storage. But an investigation concludes they were deliberately removed.
"Striking these votes now — after the election, and in only two of Wisconsin's 72 counties ... would be an extraordinary step for this court to take. We will not do so," Justice Brian Hagedorn wrote.
The decision by the conservative-controlled court on Friday means Trump's case will skip over the Wisconsin Court of Appeals as the president pursues his quest to invalidate more than 221,000 ballots.
